Łukasz Murzyn

Urodzony w 1982 roku w Krakowie. Od 2002 do 2007 roku studiował na Wydziale Malarstwa krakowskiej Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w 2005 roku także w Hogeschool voor de Kunsten w Utrechcie. W 2013 roku uzyskał doktorat a w 2019 habilitację w dziedzinie sztuki. Artysta interdyscyplinarny. Tworzy wideo instalacje, instalacje, performance i sztukę VR. Niezależny kurator wystaw i projektów badawczych. Autor ponad dwudziestu prezentacji indywidualnych, uczestnik kilkudziesięciu wystaw zbiorowych. Eksperymentuje z kontekstem sztuki, łączy nowe media z zagadnieniami dziedzictwa oraz kryzysu cywilizacyjnego i kulturowego a także z psychologią religii i liturgią Kościoła. Koordynuje projekty badawcze i kuratorskie bazujące na metodach art-based research i współczesnych technikach porozumienia i dialogu. Profesor Uniwersytetu Komisji Edukacji Narodowej w Krakowie, dziekan Wydziału Sztuki UKEN, kierownik Zespołu badawczego “Sztuka i metafizyka”, redaktor portalu diafanitas.com. Inicjator pierwszych w Polsce indywidualnych międzyobszarowych studiów artystycznych Art & Science. Prezes Fundacji Sztuki Trójmorza, członek Klubu Jagiellońskiego. Współpracuje z pismem idei Pressje.

Initiator of the first individual inter-disciplinary artistic studies Art & Science in Poland. President of the Three Seas Art Foundation, member of the Jagiellonian Club. Collaborates with the Pressje magazine of ideas.
